Forests cover nearly two-thirds of the state and include lots of different kinds of trees like slash, red cypress, and yellow pine. Florida’s wildlife is very diversified with armadillos, black bears, alligators, crocodiles, snakes and dolphins. Sugarcane, fish, petroleum, and phosphate (used for fertilizer) are also top natural resources from Florida.
